MOSCOW, Sep 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s largest mobile operators still keep the remote work regime for the majority of their staff, representatives of the companies told PRIME on Friday.
According to earlier official statements, more than 5,000 Moscow companies are to get a letter from Mayor Sergei Sobyanin with a recommendation to switch their personnel to remote work due to the difficult epidemiological situation.
“MegaFon has not received official recommendations, but they are released on official Internet resources of the city, and we constantly monitor news and orders by the mayor. MegaFon keeps the remote regime for all employees, working in this format, till the end of the year. Now we have 15,000 such employees, or 40% of the company’s personnel,” the company’s head for corporate development Valentina Vatrak said.
T2 RTK Holding, working as Tele2, received an order from the mayor on Friday to minimize presence of its staff in the office. The operator said 65% of its employees work at home.
MTS adjusts schedules of work in the office and from home depending on the situation in regions.
VimpelCom, working as Beeline, keeps staff of all back-offices on remote work till the end of 2020.
